Navajo Silversmith/Inlayer

Wayne Muskett was born in Gallup, New Mexico, a Navajo Reservation border town of trading posts and tourists – with different people with different cultures.  Wayne lives in Crownpoint, New Mexico with his wife Darcia and daughter Alesia.  Wayne creates inlay bracelets, pendants, bear pendants with double side inlay, earrings, necklace, set up with the bright stones of earth: turquoise blue lapis, denim lapis, green malachite, red coral, sugulite, black onyx, fossilized ivory, tiger eyes and opal.  All the stones that are used are bright and high grade quality.  In addition, Wayne doesn’t limit himself to sterling silver.  He also creates jewelry with 15k gold.

Wayne first started silversmith in high school and his first customers were his teachers.  Wayne comes from a family of craftsmen, and his father continues to create more traditional pieces.  Wayne has been doing this type of work for 17 years and works to continually create different pieces with different designs.  Wayne promises to keep delivering unexpected delight to those who appreciate quality craftsmanship.
